Quick & Easy 10-Minute Garlic Butter Shrimp
Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Shrimp: Pat the shrimp dry with a paper towel and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Melt Butter: In a large pan over medium heat, melt the butter.
Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Cook the Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the pan in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
Add Flavor: Pour in the lemon juice, sprinkle with red pepper flakes (if using), and stir well to coat the shrimp in the buttery garlic sauce.
Garnish & Serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately with rice, pasta, or crusty bread.
Tips:
For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine while cooking.
Use fresh shrimp for the best taste, but frozen shrimp works too—just thaw them first!
